How Acupuncture Works
Acupuncture has a very interesting history. Though it was not introduced to the United States until 1972, the method itself is believed to be between 2,000 and 5,000 years old, with origins in China. The practice of acupuncture works to balance your energies and help your body work better; acupuncture can help treat almost anything. This very basic and inexpensive form of healthcare is more than just sticking needles in your body, it used for a variety of chronic pains and acute pains. Depending on what you’re treating, most conditions are treating in 10-15 sessions 3-6 times. If it is more complex, some acupuncture treatments can require 10-12 visits.
