Dominic Turner, PT
Dominic has over 20 years of physical therapy experience, working in a variety of physical therapy settings including inpatient care, outpatient care, home health care, long-term care, and in a hospital setting. He has treated individuals with work injuries, auto-related injuries, sports injuries, and those who require post-surgical rehabilitation. He has had the opportunity to observe several surgical procedures such as total hip replacements, total knee replacements, rotator cuff repair, and even open-heart surgery. Dominic has worked at Williams Integracare for over 12 years.
Dominic graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Lacrosse with a degree in biology and the University of Minnesota with a degree in Physical Therapy. Dominic is also CPR certified.
Dominic is Continuing His Education in Several Areas
- Diagnosis-specific orthopedic management of the hip
- Non-operative orthopedic medicine and treatment of the shoulder
- Non-operative orthopedic treatment of the knee
- Evaluation and treatment for foot and ankle with the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine
Growing Up with a Love for Sports
Dominic’s father a teacher as well as a basketball, track, and football coach in a small town in southwest Minnesota, where he grew up. For Dominic, sports became a way of life; he participated in both high school and college athletics and eventually began looking for a career that would allow him to stay involved in sports. He initially considered becoming an athletic trainer. However, after breaking his wrist in his freshman year of college, he discovered physical therapy was his calling.
Why Physical Therapy?
Dominic enjoys seeing his patients return to full function and continue to be successful after an injury. He has several areas of interest, including:

- Low Back Pain
- Cervical & Lumbar Radiculopathy
- Core Strengthening
- Shoulder Injuries
For Dominic, it is rewarding to see each individual progress through treatment knowing that he is making a difference in their lives.
Did You Know?
One interesting fact about Dominic that most patients don’t know is that he once received a Community Service Award for saving a man from drowning!
Life outside of work
Dominic’s free time revolves around his family. He and his wife Kellie have three daughters. Outside of Williams, you can find him at his girls’ soccer, track, and basketball games. When he’s not cheering on his daughters, he enjoys playing basketball, lifting weights, and running. Dominic and his family also enjoy attending St. Cloud State Husky Hockey games.
Additionally, Dominic is an active member of the Sartell Booster Club and Celebration Lutheran Church.
