Kate Bjorge, APRN, CNP
Kate is originally from a small town about an hour north of the St. Cloud/Sartell area and grew up enjoying the Brainerd Lakes area. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Bemidji State University, where she also completed double minors in psychology and human performance.
Kate developed a passion for cardiovascular care during a cardiac internship as an undergraduate. After graduation, she began her nursing career on a telemetry unit in Bemidji, where she gained valuable clinical experience during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2021, Kate relocated to the St. Cloud area and joined St. Cloud Hospital as a nurse in the Cardiovascular Thoracic Unit. In 2023, she began pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree through the University of North Dakota. Throughout graduate school, she continued working as a nurse at the St. Cloud Surgical Center.
Why Family Practice?
When Kate returned to school, she chose to focus her education on family medicine and preventative care. Her experiences as a nurse, particularly early in her career, reinforced the importance of prevention and proactive healthcare.
Kate values the opportunity to build trusting, long-term relationships with her patients. She believes in taking the time to listen, understand each patient’s goals, and work together to create an individualized plan for achieving them.
Life Outside of Work
Kate married her husband in June 2026, just before beginning her career with the Integracare team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She is also a proud dog owner to Maple, a golden retriever, and Roofus, a red lab.
Kate loves spending time outdoors—whether that means being on the lake, hiking in the mountains, or sitting in a deer stand. She enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and making the most of the outdoors whenever time allows.
